CENTRAL LIBRARY – IIMT UNIVERSITY
The
Central Library of IIMT University, established in 2017, is a hub of knowledge
and learning. Spread across 1,927 sq. ft., it provides a well-structured
academic environment with separate reading sections and a seating capacity for
400 students.
The
university library holds a rich collection of 2, 14,062 volumes and subscribes
to more than 200 national and international journals and magazines. It caters
to the academic and research needs of diverse disciplines, including Ayurveda,
Pharmacy, Nursing, Law, Education, Physical Education, Engineering, Arts &
Humanities, Computer Science, Management, Hotel Management, Mass Communication,
BNYS, Allied Sciences, Life Sciences, and Agriculture. The library also maintains
a rich collection of diverse materials, including rare books, competitive exam
guides, yearbooks, Guinness World Records books, religious texts, novels,
specialized dictionaries, and encyclopaedias.
In
addition to the Central Library, IIMT University also keeps specialized

IIMT University Library provides seamless access to a wide range of electronic

addition, the library provides Inter-Library Loan (ILL) services through
DELNET, enabling students, researchers, and faculty members to borrow materials
from other libraries. This facility ensures that the academic community has

LIBRARY
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (LMS)
The
Central Library is a fully automated knowledge hub where all operations are
managed efficiently through advanced computer systems. Its entire collection is
systematically classified under the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) scheme,
and each book is barcoded for quick and accurate tracking. To provide seamless
and user-friendly services, the library is powered by the internationally
acclaimed library management software KOHA, which ensures greater
accessibility, efficiency, and adherence to modern library practices. In
addition, the library offers a Web Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC),
enabling users to easily locate books and other library materials.
PLAGIARISM
SOFTWARE
The
university uses the anti-plagiarism programmes TURNITIN and DRILLBIT. Both
mentioned anti-plagiarism software will be used to check the theses, research
papers, etc.
For
this, the procedure would be as follows:
•                    
Students are required
to submit their documents to their supervisor or the Research Cell via email.
•                    
The supervisor or guide
will review the document for plagiarism using their official plagiarism
account.
•                    
A detailed plagiarism
report will be generated and shared with the student or research scholar.
•                    
The student or research
scholar must attach the plagiarism report to their project report or thesis at
the time of final submission.
